Marcus Lilley outlines some interesting things to look out for over the coming months.

Autumn is upon us and for my latest Create Hub article, I thought it would be a nice time to share some programmes, events and happenings taking place online over the next months.

Theatre Lives – The Stage and Digital Theatre

“Theatre people often shy away from illuminating what they do as theirs is quite a difficult job to explain well. There’s no definitive way of doing it, its transformative nature being an alchemy of text, technique, instinct and imagination. We’re thrilled to present such special guests in conversation and deepen the understanding of one of the oldest professions.” – Fiona Lindsay, Digital Theatre+

The interviews will be recorded at a studio at the Lyric Hammersmith and the interviewees will share their experiences, influences and reflections to Fiona Lindsay, Creative Producer at Digital Theatre+. The conversations will premiere on The Stage website for two weeks and then be available on the Digital Theatre Website. The airing dates of the interviews are:

  • Adrian Lester: September 29 – October 12
  • Juliet Stevenson: October 13 – October 26
  • Michael Grandage: October 27 – November 9
  • Julie Walters: November 10 – November 23
