Announcing a new podcast called TECHnique
Create Hub announce a new podcast called TECHnique.
Alongside their new event series of the same name, Create Hub are delighted to be organising a brand new podcast about artists, their practice and how technology is affecting them.
The podcast is called TECHnique and it will be available on iTunes, SoundCloud and most podcasting apps. An initial episode called “TECHnique – A Teaser” came out this week to encourage listeners to subscribe to the channel.
The podcast will initially be released as a 6 episode series, covering topics such as digital art, interactive plays, gaming, theatre, small business and Twitterbots. The episodes are hosted by Samuel Fry and Richard Adams, who both write as part of Create Hub’s Industry Experts programme.
The pair are hoping to use this initial series as an experiment to see whether there is a demand for a podcast like this. They encourage listeners to contribute with feedback throughout the series.
The episodes will include interviews with a number of artists. The first few episodes include interviews with Seth Kriebel (Artist and Producer), Fiddian Warman (Director of Soda), Debbie Davies (Artist), James Megretton (Sumo Digital), Jordan Galbraith (Other Ocean) and Adam Langridge (Upstream Arcade).
The podcasts will be released in the build up to an event at Google Campus London in August. The event includes complimentary drinks provided courtesy of Hoxton Cidersmiths. Anyone can register free on Eventbrite.
